Workshops…I love doing workshops for other writers. I love writers’ curiosity, the way they hone in on what interests them. And, yes, I know some writers just want to lurk and let the workshop information compost with the other ideas for their works in progress.
ONGOING AND CUSTOM WORKSHOPS
“TAROT FOR WRITERS” is Mary’s new tarot workshop designed just for writers. It’s the successor to an ongoing tarot workshop that grew out of Mary’s years as a live tarot instructor. The all-new workshop focuses on the use of tarot for creative and spiritual growth, with layouts and lessons designed to help you use tarot to find the themes for your writing, develop characters, create and resolve both internal and external conflicts for the characters and solve other writing and creative self-care problems. The 78 cards of the tarot deck cover the entire range of human experience—and they’re even more portable than a writer’s journal. The course is so comprehensive that you’ll want to come back over and over again for additional insights, ideas, articles and discussions. Mary will be available by email and/or IM to answer your questions. And best of all, the program is only $75, even though your registration is permanent. All material is posted in a special section of Mary’s website. At registration, you’ll be given a user name and a password. Everything else will be posted within the special section so you can download all material and keep it forever. There is a one-time payment for the ongoing course
Learn Tarot: Enroll in a 6-Week Online Tarot Course. Once you register and pay, we will send you a user name and password so you can log into the classroom. You will also need to register for an account on the Forum. We will then grant you access to the Tarot Forum Group so you may post and read posts on this group.
6-Week Online Tarot Course. Cost $45
REIKI WORKSHOPS. Mary is a certified (and active) Reiki Master Teacher for more than 16 years. Her workshops are primarily offered in Albuquerque, NM, and she prefers to teach individuals or small groups. If you live in a community where you don’t have easy access to a Reiki Master for personal instruction, please call Mary to discuss arrangements for instruction and attunement at a distance.
Reiki One teaches you to work on yourself, family, pets, friends—people you can touch with your hands. Reiki One is the gentlest Reiki energy, and it is the form preferred by many pets and by fragile people.
Workshop fee: $150
Reiki Two is the practitioner’s level, with additional training to facilitate distance healing and to help the practitioner specialize the energy for differing needs. Students who received Reiki One training from another master must contact Mary in advance with evidence of their certification.
Workshop fee: $250
A discount is available for two or more people from the same family or household (or even two friends) who want to study together and practice Reiki together. Discounts are also available for those who want to prepay Reiki Two at the time they take Reiki One. Please contact Mary for information about discounts.
FREE SOUL TRAINING. Mary is the New Mexico coordinator for Free Soul http://www.freesoul.net and offers spiritual and psychic development training for individuals and small groups. Students learn basic skills for intuitive living in workshops. Contact Mary to arrange private Free Soul training.

INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP JOURNAL WORKSHOPS. Mary offers individual journal writing sessions for individuals and small groups by appointment. The workshops are flexible, tailored to the interests of the students. Mary charges $50/hour for the one-to-three hour sessions.
